Planning, collaboration, organization. These are some of the words used by Ioan Nani, the general director of Antibiotice Iași, the largest manufacturer of medicines with Romanian capital, from where medicines for patients who need them leave daily for hospitals, pharmacies, and also across borders.

On a calendar in the office, Ioan Nani has in turn planned the agenda of meetings with representative people from the industry, and on a blackboard are drawn the growth plans for Antibiotice Iaşi, the structure for organizing projects on development pillars. And the rest of the people in the team talk about long-term strategy, structures, monitoring. Ziarul Financiar met with some of the people who, along with the more than 1,300 factory employees, continue their activity on the Antibiotice platform.

“We embarked on a well-defined path and developed a strategic business plan entitled “The Future Together”, oriented towards our long-term goals until 2030. This plan provides clarity and coherence in our development direction, creating a organized and efficient framework for our future actions. We feel that our path is predictable, it is organized and easy to approach”, says Ioan Nani. He became the general director of Antibiotice in 1998, after previously having experience in the management of the same company.

The year 2024 is actually a continuation, adds the company official, who reveals that he is trying to organize the activities in such a way that by October-November, a good part of the contracts will already be established, in order to have predictability. It is also demanded by the pharmaceutical market, marked by shortages in recent years, but also by the capital market, where Antibiotice Iasi operates.
