The PNL Ploiesti organization sent a press release on the repair of Independence Boulevard, after mayor Andrei Volosevici proposed increasing the amount allocated for this investment. The project is on the agenda of today’s Ploiești City Council meeting.

The repair work on Castanilor Boulevard, which annoyed all the residents of Ploiești, hides not only incompetence and the inability to finish the investment in the time stipulated by the contract, but also a cannon on public money.
Today, the mayor Andrei Volosevici comes before the City Council with a project that increases the amount allocated to the company that performs the works by the amount of 790,396.14 lei.
We publicly request Mayor Volosevici to explain what were the unforeseen works that appeared.
We also call on Volosevici to announce the date when this nightmare, which for 8 months has tested the nerves of all Ploiesti residents, will end.
We remind you that the work should have been completed three months after it started (around December), and in the entire cold season there were only a few days of genuine winter, so no meteorological reasons can be invoked.
We have been lied to so many times regarding the completion deadline, the reasons for extensions and the value of the project, that we want to make sure that we are not lied to again and that Mayor Volosevici communicates to all Ploiešte residents a clear deadline for completion!
