The Braşov Philharmonic has prepared three special evenings for music lovers, at the beginning of the mini-holiday on May 1st and Easter. Thus, on Tuesday, April 30, at Sala Patria, the public will enjoy a symphonic rock concert, together with the band byron and the Braşov Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Remus Grama. This event is already sold out.
There are still tickets for the concerts on May 1 and 2. On May 1, at the Chamber Music Hall, the Gaudeamus Quartet of the Braşov Philharmonic offers music lovers the work “Seven Last Words of the Savior on the Cross” by Joseph Haydn. The special guest of the event is Alexandru Chiriac, and he will read biblical passages that will complete the message musical.
The following evening, on May 2, Sala Patria will host a vocal-symphonic concert with conductor Steffen Schlandt and the “Bach” Ensemble of the Black Church. Together with the soloists Georgiana Simonov – soprano, Nicolae Simonov – tenor and Orsolya Török – alto, they will perform works such as “Miserere”, by Jan Dismas Zelenka, “Concertul op. 2 no. 5 in G minor”, by Evaristo Felice Dall´Abaco, and “Cantales BWV 131 and BWV 66”, by Johann Sebastian Bach, as well as “Concerto in G minor RV 157”, by Antonio Vivaldi.
