The Gorje liberals submitted their candidacies today for the Târgu Jiu City Hall, the Târgu Jiu Local Council and the County Council.
Iulian Popescu, the former prefect of Gorj, is running for the seat of mayor, and senator Ion Iordache, the president of PNL Gorj, is running for the position of president of the County Council.
“I submitted the applications. We are ready to offer the perspectives that gorjans want. We have very good teams for each individual community. We have a good team for Târgu Jiu. We have projects for the municipality, for the county. We are determined, motivated and determined to make the change that our county needs”, says Senator Ion Iordache.
“Today I submitted the candidacies for the Târgu Jiu City Hall and the Local Council. It is an important step for the opening of the city, full opening that we will do on the 9th of June, since I guarantee you that we will open the city for investment, for well-paid jobs, we will open the city for tourists, we will open the town hall for citizens and for citizens’ problems. We need investments and the support of the County Council and together with Mr. Senator Ion Iordache I believe that we can make a wonderful team, so that in the municipality of Târgu Jiu and in the county of Gorj we will have a future period of economic and social prosperity as never before has been registered so far in our community”, declared Iulian Popescu.
Also present at the event was Nelu Pavel, the president of the Roma Party Pro Europe Gorj branch, who confirmed the partnership with PNL Gorj: “The Roma Party decided to make a partnership with the National Liberal Party because we have four priorities: education, health, employment and stop migration. For everyone I say: Let’s get to work for the good and our future”.
