FC Bihor Oradea struck on Poli’s field! The “red-blues” secured the 1st place in Series 8!

The Oradeans won on Saturday in Timișoara with 1-0 and distanced themselves to 12 points from the Banatians, thus mathematically securing the 1st place in the play-off, with four stages before the end.
FC Bihor put pressure from the start, played with the lines up, and the insistence was rewarded in the 35th minute, when Florin Chitaș (photo, right) received the ball, dribbled two opponents and shot from the edge of the box, and the ball entered the net under the goalkeeper (0-1).

The hosts had a goal in the first extra minute of the half, when Olariu sent a cross from 6-7 meters.
Poli started the second half more decisively, but the Bihors had the maturity to preserve the advantage obtained by the success of Chitaș, his ninth goal in the current season. Deserved success of the “red-blues”, who return with 9 points from the tour of three games held in Timiș county. Three matches without a conceded goal!
FC Bihor returns to the Iuliu Bodola Stadium on Friday, May 3, from 18:00, when it meets CSC Peciu Nou.

“A hard-earned victory. As expected, Poli Timișoara is a good team with a good organization of the game. There were two different halves. A first half of ours, fully controlled, with possession and progression in the opposition half. The second half was a more closed game, Poli came with long balls, but we organized well defensively. We make permutations every game. Chitaș was the starter, entered well, scored and deserves to be congratulated both he and the whole team. The important thing is that we won, it is also a victory for morale, which can give us confidence. We still have a lot of work to do and it’s important to avoid injuries.
