A new derby with Poli Timisoara is coming! The match, scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m., will be broadcast by FRF TV!
The footballers from FC Bihor are playing a new game this weekend with Poli Timişoara, the team in 2nd place in the play-off of the 8th Series of the 3rd League.
This time, the derby of the series is scheduled on the field of Politehnica, at Stadionul Electrica in Timişoara, on Saturday, April 27, starting at 5 p.m.
Thus, the best teams in the 8th Series meet for the fourth time this season, having drawn every time so far. The first confrontation took place in the 4th stage of the regular season, also in Timisoara, on September 16, when the game ended with a score of 1-1. Then, in the return leg from Oradea, on November 18, in a game played at night in the 4th round, the score was also 1-1.
The first duel between the top two placed in the play-off took place at the Iuliu Bodola Stadium in Oradea, on April 6, when the result was equal again, but this time 0-0.
“We are preparing intensively for the game with Poli Timişoara, because we are expecting an important game, we say, from several points of view. After we have achieved our goal of qualifying for the promotion play-off, we want to achieve one more now, that of entering the play-off from first place and thus have a quieter last stages of the play-offs. This was our objective from the very beginning, to try to win everything that can be won, because if we want to look like a team that has confidence, that has potential and that wants something, then it has to win almost everything can win at this level. We hope to have a good game in Timişoara, because I have confidence in what we have trained so far. I saw confidence, I saw enthusiasm, I saw great concentration in everything we worked on and I hope it will continue to be the same, and at game time let’s be as clear and responsive as possible and, why not, let’s say we’re going with the intention of winning’, said the head coach of the team from Oradea, Florin Farcaş.
The FC Bihor team technician has two squad problems before the Timişoara match, Alexandru Stoian and Răzvan Gunie being injured.
We remind you that currently, after four stages of the play-off, FC Bihor occupies the first place with 56 points, while Poli Timisoara is in second position, with 47 points.
The red-blues, who are still the only undefeated ones in League III, have a good morale before this derby, after in the previous rounds they obtained two clear away victories, with the score of 3-0, at Peciu Nou and at Carani, with Phoenix Buziaş, a fact that mathematically ensured their qualification to the promotion barrier, five stages before the end of the play-off.
On the other side, SSU Politehnica Timişoara comes after an away victory, 2-0 at Peciu Nou, but in the previous game at home, it drew 2-2 with Phoenix Buziaş.
