Oana Lis says she was surprised to see how many people wanted to help her raise money for Viorel Lis’ treatment. After selling some of his belongings, he decided to also put the former mayor’s cross up for sale.

“I sold, I thank the ladies who looked for me, who helped me a lot. I am eternally grateful because being a more difficult time in my life, I needed support and it is not such a shame, a fuss. It’s normal to sell yourself. It is a fashion now of sustainability, and the big stores, and on groups there are a lot of groups. That some people do it in private… I’m not ashamed of that either, well I don’t have any way, being with the public and so, I have no reason to hide”, declared Oana Lis, in an interview for Antena Stars News.

Oana Lis said that she also received negative comments because she decided to say without hesitation that she needed money. Viorel Lis’s wife declared that she had no reason to hide, especially since the condition of the former mayor is at stake.

“Romanians know what it means to be difficult, and you still don’t get along with the rich man. Every poor man understands you, that’s the truth, everyone does what they want. I do everything I do from the heart, especially since it’s my stuff. Everyone does what they want with their things”, said Oana Lis.
