The fuel tanks at the tanks owned by the State Reserves in Gorj will go into repair. Current repairs are needed on the 5 tanks for which the membranes need to be replaced. The National Administration of State Reserves and Special Issues – Territorial Unit 145 Șânțareni will benefit from a budget of 1.87 million lei for renovation works.
According to the National Administration of State Reserves and Special Issues, through the current repair work, the repair of 5 product tanks is aimed at, in order to fall within the provisions of Law 264/2017, so that the activity specific to the state reserve is carried out in safe conditions in exploitation, as well as for the purpose of efficient storage and management of “state reserve” products and an increase in professional performance in the administration of State Reserve heritage.
The mission of the National Administration of State Reserves and Special Problems is to intervene operatively for the protection of the population, the economy and the defense of the country, in exceptional situations determined by natural calamities, epidemics, industrial or nuclear accidents, social or economic phenomena, external circumstances and in case of war. The main actions carried out by the National Administration of State Reserves and Special Issues are:
– the accumulation of products for the establishment of state reserve stocks with funding from the state budget;
refreshing state reserve stocks;
– the accumulation of emergency stocks, including financing from external credits and conjuncture stocks, with the approval of the government;
– granting short-term loans and making permanent withdrawals from state reserves, with the approval of the prime minister;
– the granting of free humanitarian aid, internal or external, based on the approval of the Government;
– the long-term preservation of state reserve stocks under conditions of complete quantitative and qualitative safety;
– capitalization of the released state reserve products;
– commercial operations of import – export.
