Today, the monthly meeting of the Dolj County Council took place, which included, on the agenda, 29 items, to which one was added. Most of them focused on the development of infrastructure, education and culture. The additional one is far-reaching for the county, through the development of agriculture in the territory.
Thus, the transfer from the public domain to the private domain of the county of a 20,000 square meter plot of land, located in Desa commune, was approved. Hereby, it was established that the relevant area be given for free use to SN Casa Română de Comerţ Agroalimentar “Unirea” SA, a public enterprise with full state capital, in order to achieve a major investment objective of county interest, namely the construction of a logistics center for the collection, storage, sorting, processing, packaging and utilization of vegetables and fruits from the Desa vegetable and fruit basin. Networks of local, zonal, county, regional centers will be created, priority being given to the vegetable and fruit growing basins with large productions and with a large number of beneficiaries of the subsidy programs.
