The weather is getting colder in Romania! It will rain in the southern lands, in the center and in the east of the country. Today, the Sun will be only slightly visible through the clouds. Maximums will vary between 9 degrees in eastern Transylvania and 25 degrees in western Dobrogea.

The weather is getting colder in Romania! In the Dobrogea and Bărăgan, a gloomy day is foreshadowed. Showers with lightning and possible hail are expected. Significant amounts of water accumulate and the wind intensifies its force. Temperatures remain high and may even reach 25 degrees Celsius.

The situation will be similar and in the south of Moldova and in the north of Muntenia. Skies will be overcast and rain will be quite heavy, sometimes accompanied by lightning and hail conditions. Winds will pick up and temperatures will remain warm around 23 degrees Celsius after lunch.

In the the north of Moldova and in Bucovina, temperatures drop slightly but remain around 20 degrees Celsius. The clouds persist and several periods of rain are expected. The wind increases in intensity, and in the higher mountain areas, the rain can turn into sleet and snow.

In the northern Transylvania and in Maramureș, the sun makes its appearance through the clouds. Rains are more frequent in Transylvania, but towards night, the sky clears up in the whole region. Temperatures drop from the previous day, and the highs stop at 14 degrees Celsius for today.

In the rthe western regions, the sky will be predominantly cloudy, but the rains will be localized on small areas. In general, the weather will be quite good, but colder than yesterday. Temperatures will not exceed 16 degrees Celsius in the Crișana area.

Low temperatures in Transylvania

In the Transylvania, the morning will be cold, especially in depressions, and temperatures will not rise significantly during the day. Highs will only reach between 12 and 13 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain overcast, with several periods of rain expected, which may bring significant amounts of water. The wind will blow strongly, and snow or sleet may be recorded in the high mountain areas.

In the Olten, a gloomy, sunless day follows, with rain and increasing winds during showers. Also, the temperatures will drop, and only in the Drobeta Turnu Severin area will be recorded approximately 17 degrees Celsius. Overnight, the atmosphere will calm down.

Similar weather conditions will also be encountered in southern regions: cloudy sky, several periods of rain and strong wind. The temperatures will be lower compared to the previous day, settling at 16 degrees Celsius, according to ANM.

Weather forecast for Bucharest

In the Bucharest there is a cooling of the weather. There will be intervals of rain throughout the day and the wind will become more intense. The maximum temperature will reach only 17 degrees Celsius, a lower value than usual.

At the beginning of the night, there will be a few more rain showers, but the sky will gradually clear. By morning, the temperature will drop to 8 degrees Celsius.

Mountain weather

And in Mountain area the weather is getting colder. The sky will be mostly overcast. The rains will affect most of the massifs and can bring back about 25 liters of water per square meter.

At altitudes above 1,500 meters, sleet and snow are forecast, and the wind will blow with greater intensity on the mountain ridges.
