The Suceava court rejected on Friday, May 3, the appeal submitted by the Alliance Party for the Union of Romanians (AUR) against the rejection of Neculai Miron’s candidacy for the position of president of the Suceava County Council.
We remind you that the County Electoral Office invalidated his candidacy on Wednesday Neculai Miron to the position of president of the Suceava County Council, intending to run for the AUR party and for a new term of mayor in Bosanci, but also for the presidency of the Suceava CJ. However, the BEJ considered that a person cannot simultaneously run for these two positions, so it decided to reject the candidacy submitted for the CJ, given that Miron had already submitted his candidacy for Bosanci City Hall.
AUR contested the decision of the BEJ, but on Friday afternoon a judge of the Suceava Court decided to reject the appeal as unfounded, maintaining the decision of the BEJ rejecting Neculai Miron’s candidacy.
The Tribunal’s decision can be appealed within 24 hours. (BONE)
