A former candidate for the EC Oltenia Directorate would have wanted interviews in English – GorjOnline

--

The selection made by the company from Cluj for the Directorate of the Oltenia Energy Complex continues to cause dissatisfaction among those who applied for such a position but did not get an “eligible” place. Constantin Popescu, former member of the EC Oltenia Directorate, believes that the people who took care of the selection from the energy company should have held those interviews in English. 35 people applied for a position in the management of the energy company, but only three people were declared admitted by the ARC company.

“I, if you put me, these assessors should have had an English-level conversation with all of the participants because we are not going back to coal. The trend of the Oltenia Energy Complex is not to reinvent the teeth of the excavator bucket or the coal wheel, we must move towards innovation and cutting-edge technology. Unfortunately, Romania does not produce cutting-edge technology and it is produced in developed countries”, said the former member of the CE Oltenia Directorate, Constantin Popescu.

They would like the selected people to have business experience

Another aspect that displeased Popescu is that the people selected by the company from Cluj should have had experience in running commercial companies. “They should also have taken into account the fact that certain candidates did not even have experience in what it means to lead a society,” Popescu also said.
