Braşov City Hall is making a new plan for renting residence parking lots. The assigned places will be auctioned periodically, so that other tenants can benefit from parking near the house. In addition, the passes will be void during the day
Although the Braşov City Hall announced since the fall of last year, that the tender procedures for residential parking spaces will be carried out through an online platform, it has not yet passed all the tests. However, it would be close to the “port”. The spokesperson of the Braşov City Hall, Sorin Toarcea, told BizBraşov.ro that it would be the final tests of the application with a view to implementation.
No parking “for life” for Brasov residents

Electronic auctions, problems are announced for those unfamiliar with the system
Until now, the allocation of vacant residential parking spaces was done only when it was the turn of the respective neighborhood, and those who awarded them approximately 16 years ago when the first auctions were held practically remained owners of them if they paid the annual fee on time. For renting, the necessary documents had to be physically taken to the specialized service of the City Hall and the auction was also organized in the municipality headquarters for cases where there were several applicants for the same parking space. Basically, once the new system is implemented, it will be auctioned electronically, but this will happen after a certain period, which will probably be 5 years.
In the municipality of Braşov, the annual fees for residential parking spaces start from 120 lei in zone D, 132 lei – in zone C, 144 lei – in zone B and 156 lei – in zone A, rates set now better than 15 years.
