Cher, the 77-year-old famous singer, has revealed why she dates younger men, as is her current boyfriend, 38-year-old Alexander “AE” Edwards.
In an appearance on the show hosted by Jennifer Hudson, Cher broke her silence about her “preferences” in men, explaining why she only dates young men.
“The reason I ended up dating young men is because the men my age are all dead now. And before they were terrified to approach me“, she told Jennifer Hudson, in her show on Wednesday, stating that the young people had the courage to approach her.

As Hudson filled in and said that young men tend to be “brave,” Cher added: “Yes, they are raised by women like me.”
Edwards, who Cher said he fell in love with after texting her and who she said thought she was too old for him, is not the artist’s first young lover, despite their nearly 40-year age difference. The legendary singer was also said to have had relationships with Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer, both ten years her junior.

According to some sources, it was the singer who ended the relationship, and Alexander gave her the time she needed, so now they have reconciled.
“Alexander played well. He gave her space when she ended the relationship“, revealed a source close to the artist, adding: “We thought she got bored with him, but the truth is that Cher enjoys spending time with him. she she’s at a point in her life where she just wants to be happy”said the source, explaining that the death of singer Tina Turner had a strong impact on her.
“Tina’s death made her realize that life is too short. She just wants to be happy, and Alex helps her in that sense”the person close to Cher also said.
