DENT ESTET, the established leader of the dentistry market in Romania, celebrates today 25 years since the founding of the group, which experienced a dynamic evolution at national level after the partnership with MedLife, through investments of 12 million euros in medical infrastructure and a 360° approach to patient health care.
Since 1999, DENT ESTET has built and consolidated its status as a pioneer of excellence and innovation in dentistry in Romania, maintaining a positive growth trend, with a portfolio of 18 clinics in 9 key cities in the country, currently. The performance of remaining in the top of Romanians’ preferences for the past 25 years is due to the business model created by Dr. Oana Taban, based on access to top medical expertise, premium digital technologies and treatments with a real impact on the general health of Romanians.

MedLife-DENT ESTET partnership: For 8 years, the 360° approach to patient health care
Through investments supported by tens of millions of euros, the DENT ESTET group is present today in 9 key cities in Romania: Bucharest (8 clinics), Timișoara (2), Sibiu (2), Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, Ploiesti , Craiova, Arad.
The national expansion was accelerated by the partnership signed in April 2016 with MedLife, the largest private medical services network in the country. After this date, the development strategy was based on greenfield investments, but also the acquisition of top clinics in the market.
The 8 years with MedLife have favored an accelerated growth of DENT ESTET clinics on all levels: the increase in the number of dental units from 40 to 110, the 147% increase in the number of unique patients, the 164% increase in the number of visits and the 160 % of the number of dentists.
In addition, thanks to a 360° approach to patient health and the constant concern for the most flexible financial solutions, starting in 2023, dental services have been integrated for the first time in the subscriptions offered to both individuals and companies. This innovative perspective for the medical system in Romania has proven to be a success, with the increase in interest for integrated oral health subscriptions being 20% from quarter to quarter.

Pioneer in integrated digital dentistry
In the 25 years of presence on the dental services market in Romania, DENT ESTET has been a team of premieres, both in terms of medical services and in terms of the role played by companies in society.
At the same time, DENT ESTET was the first dental clinic to enter into strategic partnerships with charitable organizations, such as Save the Children Romania (since 2006), “Heart of Hope” Foundation, Association “Creștem Mari” and Magic Associationto ensure children and those from disadvantaged backgrounds access to the best diagnostic and treatment solutions.
Supporting the educational process, by investing in the training of new generations of dentists (within the specialized faculties in Târgu Mureș, Oradea, Arad and Craiova), but also of dental clinic managers, through the Association of Dental Office Managers (ADOM), of represented another basic pillar of the CSR strategy.
Also, DENT ESTET became more and more involved in the artistic community, thanks to partnerships with local cultural institutions (“Radu Stanca” National Theater in Sibiu, “Toma Caragiu” National Theater in Ploiești, “Paul Constantinescu” Philharmonic in Ploiesti, the “Ioan Slavici” Classical Theater in Oradea or the “Ioan Slavici” Classical Theater in Arad), but also in sports, by supporting the football teams FCU 1948 Craiova and UTA Arad and the basketball club CSM U Oradea.

Since 1999, DENT ESTET has aimed to improve the quality of life of patients and offer the latest diagnostic and treatment options, by integrating technology and innovation in all the group’s clinics. MODJAW digital scanning technology, Waterlase and Epic Biolase lasers, used in the treatment and prevention of periodontal disease, CBCT computed tomography, Trios 3Shape® Real Color digital intraoral scanner, 3Shape Implant Studio® digital guidance software and Digital Smile Design (to preview the final smile after a complex treatment plan) are just some of the technologies used.
