A 29-year-old driver died on the spot, last night, and another young man was injured, after a car and a truck collided violently in Buzau county.
Following the strong impact, the car turned into a heap of beasts. Scared, the other traffic participants raised the alarm. However, it was much too late for the woman, as the doctors pronounced her dead. The passenger in the heavy truck suffered several injuries and was taken by an ambulance.
“A collision occurred between a car driven in the direction of Buzău towards Brăila by a 29-year-old female driver from Buzău and a heavy tonnage truck. It was traveling in the opposite direction. At the wheel was a 48-year-old driver from Braile. The accident resulted in the death of the car driver. A passenger in the truck, a 35-year-old man from Brăila, was injured. The victim was picked up by the ambulance and transported to the hospital”, according to IPJ Buzău.
The police have opened a criminal case for manslaughter and are continuing the investigation to establish exactly the circumstances in which the accident occurred.
