Sahara dust covered the cars in Romania (Photo gallery) Internet users launched into jokes and theories. But Beatrice Mahler has a serious warning

--

The wave of dust from the Sahara that is crossing Romania these days was deposited last night in several localities in the southeast of the country.

The phenomenon was reported in the counties of Tulcea, Constanţa, Ialomiţa, Brăila, but also in other areas of the country and in Bucharest.

In Slobozia, the dust brought by the rain settled on all the cars:

Jokes and theories

Some photos are accompanied by comments that question this phenomenon.

“This “Saharan” dust was so clever that it deposited itself on everything that moves, without the wind blowing for a second. My friend’s words (…): “When the dust was deposited all over the country, it should have ended the Saharan sand”. It’s just that our Constanta sand, located 200 km from Bucharest, no longer reaches here, but it’s good that all the “Saharan dust” crosses 4,000 km to reach our lungs and on top of all the cars. (…)

As such, it could only be dropped from above in a controlled manner to deposit in this manner everywhere. They had serious work (…) that sprinkled last night! We’re going to get choked up at how frequent these toxic sprinkling innings are!

But all around there is peace and quiet. Since no one riots in real life, we have NO chance of undoing these daily misfortunes. I don’t know how much longer our lungs will withstand such a TOXIC assault!” someone wrote.

“With the amount of dust deposited in the whole country, all the Saharan sand should have ended”, is another comment on social networks.

“The car got chicken pox after the rain. I have burning nostrils every 3 days for two years now. It is hard to understand and in vain. I entered the sign of dementia for several years, he gave himself free to save the planet of people. One-two, Saharan dust,” commented another netizen.

Many were amused, and the jokes flowed on the Internet:
