Home News Scientific conference on archaeological topics at the Botoșani County Museum
Between April 25-26, 2024, the Botoșani County Museum, History-Archaeology Section organizes the scientific conference “Hierasus – Archaeological research in the northern area of Moldova”, now in its second edition.
The event will include the presentation of some specialized publications of the Botoșani County Museum dedicated to Cucutenian anthropomorphic representations, the display of the temporary exhibition “Treasures of the museum: prehistoric zoomorphic representations” incorporating numerous pieces from the archaeological heritage of the museum institution, as well as the presentation of recent research on monuments and sites archaeological, cultural, archaeological and anthropological goods, along with other aspects of academic relevance and topicality.
The two days of communications will include over 30 interventions by specialists affiliated with universities, research institutes and partner museums of the Botoşani County Museum, from the country and abroad.
