The county stage of the second edition of the Culture and Financial-Accounting Education Contest took place on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the “Petre S. Aurelian” Technological High School, Slatina.
Olt County will be represented at the National Stage, which will be organized between May 29 and June 1, in Bucharest by the students ranked in the first two places: Tucan Jorge David from “Petre S. Aurelian” Technological High School Slatina and Șerban Andreea Roberta from at the Technological High School “Constantin Brâncoveanu” Scornicesti.
The competition is addressed to students from the XIth grade, high school – Technology stream, Services profile, the professional qualification Technician in economic activities, from pre-university education and aims to stimulate students who are interested in the technical-applicative field for a quality financial-accounting education, for a profession capable of responding to the new challenges of the labor market and the digital age.
The school inspector for professional and technical education, Ștefania Aida Aliman, Ion Buiculescu, the president of the CECCAR Olt Branch, as well as the executive director Lucia Rotaru, as well as Constanța Dumitru, executive director within the CJ Olt, were present at the competition.
Substantial prizes were awarded by CECCAR Olt Branch, Slatina City Hall and Olt County Council.
“We send thanks and congratulations to all those who were involved in the organization, awards, and last but not least to the students and teachers who guided and prepared the students”, said inspector Ștefania Aida Aliman.
