“A few days before entering the electoral campaign, I learned (from the press, unfortunately) that the file of the Museum of the Amural Association in the grottoes behind the walls, file in which I am accused, was sent to court. Considering this new setting, I announce the following: 1. I am innocent. No matter how much the PNL-ists who were interviewed try to lie in front of the prosecutors, the truth will be proven in court and I will be acquitted. 2. This file is part of a political hunt, the criminal complaint being made by the PNL vice-mayor Sebastian Rusu, together with the real estate mobster Garbis Vicentiu Kehayian, the same one who declared in the press that he lost 40 million euros because I did not have more allowed to destroy the hills of Schei with thousands of apartments”, writes Flavia Boghiu on Facebook.
He announces that he has chosen not to run in these local elections – “a personal decision that I made based on the medical situation, considering that I am pregnant and it is a risky pregnancy”.
“Related to the public office: at this moment the employment relationships in the Braşov City Hall are suspended and they no longer exercise public duties. On this way, I thank you for all the good thoughts, health wishes and messages received from you, which overwhelmed me. My focus and energy for now is on the health of the pregnancy – which includes my health – and I promise I’ll be back. I will be and we will be fine”, concludes Boghiu.
