Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu declared on Wednesday that a special law of the Capital is needed and that “it is obvious” that the dependence of sector mayors “must not be so great on the general mayor”, on political games, reports Agerpres.
“The administration has no political color, that’s why the efficient mayors are the ones who make the difference. You also had a complete team with the general mayor of the Capital, Mrs. Gabriela Firea, who, like you, Daniel (Băluţă – no), just like you, Robert (Negoiţă – no), in her first mandate busy putting out fires. He started to create the performing team and above all he started to be the link between the sectors. It is obvious that we have to move forward. It is obvious that we need a special law of the Capital. It is obvious that the discussions regarding the property must be closed once. It is obvious that the dependence of the sector mayors should not be so great on the general mayor, on political games. It is obvious that a new approach is needed. Each of us, I am firmly convinced, like me in my first mandate as a parliamentarian, we learn, we learn from our mistakes. The important thing is to be people of good faith, to be people who want to build”, said Ciolacu at the launch of Daniel Băluţă’s candidacy for the mayor of Sector 4.
Ciolacu mentioned that the PSD-PNL electoral alliance and the governing coalition were not created against anyone and did not unite against a mayor.
“We came together to try to build something for the people of Bucharest. We gathered around an administrative project”, said Ciolacu.
The Prime Minister stated that Daniel Băluţă is “the coolest mayor in Romania” and is rapidly moving towards his third mandate.
