Awards at the Dolj County School Inspectorate

The Dolj County School Inspectorate will award, tomorrow, at 11.00, the educational units with the most interesting calendar of activities dedicated to the “Financial Education” Day, which took place between April 11-26.

The activities took place within the school competition organized by the Dolj County School Inspectorate on the occasion of the “Financial Education” Day. It is the second edition of this competition, for this year’s award the sum of 8,000 lei has been allocated, according to the Ministry of Education. The awards ceremony will be attended by representatives of ISJ Dolj, directors of educational units, teaching staff and students, representatives of representative banking institutions with which the Dolj County School Inspectorate has signed collaboration protocols for the development of financial education programs for students . It is a special opportunity to highlight the importance of financial education activities for students. They will participate:

• George Sebastian Perpelea, doctor in economics, regional director, Regional Branch of the National Bank of Romania,
• Daniela Plopșoreanu, director of ING Bank, Olteț Craiova Branch,
• Paul Handro, zonal director Retail-Banca Comercială Română,
• Marin Călărașu, BCR Group director.

Between April 11-26, the Dolj County School Inspectorate requested educational units to organize:

• public demonstrations,
• symposia,
• seminars,
• round tables,
• other types of public events dedicated to Financial Education Day. Educational units were encouraged to involve public and private institutions active in the field in the organization of these activities.
