On April 21, the police were notified by a man about the fact that during the previous night, around 02.00, three unknown persons, with their faces covered, allegedly entered the home of an octogenarian from Garoafa commune where, under threat , would have stolen the sum of 2500 lei and a mobile phone, after which he would have left in an unknown direction.
The police immediately went to the scene, establishing that the reports are confirmed, and following the investigations carried out, yesterday, April 22, they identified the three suspects, aged 19, 20 and 25, respectively.
At the same time, the police carried out 3 house searches in the city of Mărășești, after which they identified the stolen mobile phone.
Following the administration of the evidence in question, the 3 persons were detained for 24 hours, under the aspect of committing the crime of qualified robbery.
Today, April 23, those in question were brought before the magistrates, who ordered them to be remanded in custody for 30 days.
