11 million lei, for the renovation of the Postavari Bastion

Taken over several years ago by the Braşov City Hall from the Braşov County Council, the Postăvari Bastion on the alley under Tâmpa will be rehabilitated. The value of the works is estimated at 11,604,610 lei, and the technical-economic indicators related to the investment will be subject to the approval of the Braşov Local Council in the April 25 meeting.
Through this project, repairs will be made to the building and museum spaces, a cafe or tea room, an information point and a souvenir shop will be remodeled, and the duration of the works is estimated at 18 months.
We remind you that in 2012, a virtual museum was opened in the Bastion of Postăvarilor, the most modern in the city at that time. The investment in setting up this museum was almost 300,000 euros.
The museum was administered by Consilprest (a company subordinate to the Braşov County Council), which, however, failed to make this objective profitable, so after three years the unit was closed.
