The deputy mayor of Suceava, Lucian Harșovschi, presented the route of the new road, which will ensure the connection between the Burdujeni and Itcani neighborhoods. The expropriation and construction procedures will be started, after the approval of the project in the meeting of the City Council on Thursday, April 25.
The vice mayor of Suceava municipality, Lucian Harșovschi, announced the construction of a new connecting road between the Burdujeni and Itcani neighborhoods.
He presented the route of the road and specified that the project will start after it is approved in the meeting of the City Council on Thursday, April 25.

“A new road connection between the Itcani neighborhood and the Burdujeni neighborhood. We are concerned with streamlining road traffic, and that is why we are coming up with this proposal that we are already working on and will enter the meeting of the City Council. More precisely, we are talking about the connection and a new construction between Alexandru Ghica street in the Itcani district, continuing with Plaiului street, then with Triajului street and arriving in Burdujeni at the railway footbridge. This will reduce road traffic and connect the two neighborhoods, because at the moment traffic is either only on Gheorghe Doja, or only bypassing on Traian Vuia street. We will make this street in such a way that the traffic in the area will be less congested and of course we will come up with other proposals in the next period. This proposal is already in the City Council meeting this week and we will approve it and start the expropriation procedures.

In 2016, he received the award for the journalism category in the “People of the Time” campaign. In 2020, he received the top prize “Honestly about poverty”, awarded by the “Renasis” Association.
