HEAVY ARTILLERY. Through an indictment statement, Adrian Cozma asks Pataki Csaba to resign

The president of the Satu Mare County Organization of the PNL, deputy Adrian Cozma, sent – through a press release – an indictment to the president of the Satu Mare County Council, Pataki Csaba, his main opponent in the election for the head of the Satu Mare County Council. Deputy Cozma claims that the financing of large cultural projects for Satu Mare county would be done by means that are not exactly legal. We reproduce in full the press release delivered by the deputy Adrian Cozma.

“The other days, the Satu Mare County Council announced the financing of large cultural projects for Satu Mare County and, not surprisingly, this time too, the star of the state budget fundraising is the Identitas Foundation. This organization is nothing but a financial mega-piggy bank of the UDMR, through which the leaders Gabor and Pataki rush to advertise their election with public money.

Surely, the people of Satu Mare are wondering who is this foundation that receives money from the Satu Mare County Council, money given under the signature of the distinguished Pataki Csaba. Well, it’s an organization founded by some members of UDMR Satu Mare, people who, although they are unsurpassed in creativity to siphon public money, forgot to change its headquarters, which is identical to that of UDMR Satu Mare, respectively Mihai Viteazu str. no. 10, Satu Mare.

Moreover, the height of stupidity and insensitivity, the contact details of the president of UDMR Satu Mare, including the telephone numbers of the distinguished Pataki Csaba, correspond to those of, you guessed it, the Identitas Foundation. At least in the last 8 years since he led UDMR Satu Mare, under the signature of Mr. Pataki Csaba, hundreds of thousands of lei were directed to the Identitas Foundation, an organization that he administers, at least partially, in the headquarters of his own so-called party.

Dear residents of Satu Mare, how moral can it be to come and ask for money from the Satu Mare County Council, with your own party foundation? Also, dear villagers, know that if you ask the Pataki-Gabor tandem why public money is siphoned off, you will be branded as chauvinists. But let’s take a closer look at who this Identitas Foundation is that controls cultural activity in Satu Mare County and that, more seriously, subordinates the entire Satu Mare County Council.

The foundation was created by none other than Varga Attila, judge of the Constitutional Court, perched at the top of the state’s power to ensure, through controversial decisions of the Court, the weakening of the State and the immunization of immaculate fellow citizens like Marka Attila or Govor Mircea. As can be seen, all the famous flower of UDMR is part or was part of this foundation, former and current parliamentarians, local and county councilors or simple businessmen.

I draw attention to a few more current names:

Deputy Magyar Lorand, retired from the Foundation’s board of trustees in 2016 but having the parliamentary cabinet at the same address as it;
Kereskenyi Sandornone other than the father of the president of the municipal organization of the UDMR, the current mayor Kereskenyi Gabor;

And now see what is the villainy of this octopus patronized by the president of UDMR, Pataki Csaba:

during the years since he has been president of the county council, he has sought to appoint people to the evaluation commissions for projects with non-reimbursable funding from the state budget, to guarantee that they will declare the Identitas Foundation’s projects eligible. These projects are important because they make a dismal election campaign for leaders Pataki and Gabor;
one of those he appointed to analyze the projects is precisely Kereskenyi Sandor. In 2017, he was appointed president of the non-reimbursable project financing allocation committee. He did his job well, the Identitas Foundation received almost 80,000 lei and no one noticed the fact that the distinguished president was part of the management of this foundation, that is, the wolf was laid to rest. Moreover, his son, Kereskenyi Gabor, was from 2000 to 2016, organizer of the “Hungarian Partium Days” event, an event financed by the Identitas Foundation.

Further, returning to the year 2024 when the same Pataki Csaba appoints a certain Nagy Orban, former director of the Northern Theater of Satu Mare, director of the County Center for the preservation and promotion of Satu Mare traditional culture, to the project evaluation committee. It is intended to ensure that the projects of the Identitas Foundation go smoothly and will ensure the partial support of the electoral campaign for the UDMR candidates, including Mr. Pataki.

The great villainy is that the immaculate Mr. Orban does not see and does not remember that he is a colleague of Mr. Stier Peter from the Identitas Foundation, within another foundation, Proscenium Satu Mare, where both are part of the management structures. Without having the slightest feeling of incompatibility, Mr. Orban makes another wicked choice, he chooses to finance Proscenium Foundation Satu Mare where, together with Stier Peter from Identitas, they are part of the management structures, offering themselves 24,000 lei.

Dear Hungarians, beyond these arguments and proofs by which we tell you that your leaders have circumvented the law to ensure that they get funding for an appreciable event, I am sure that we will be made chauvinists. When you say that someone lies or steals, and that someone is Hungarian, surely the accuser is a Romanian chauvinist. It remains for you to choose, to be with the thieves or with the truth.
