A young man found without a license on an ATV, detained for 24 hours

Police officers from the Tismana City Police yesterday detained for 24 hours and brought to the IPJ Gorj Detention and Preventive Arrest Center, a young man, 21 years old, from Padeș commune, being suspected of committing the crime of driving a car without possessing driver’s license.

On March 31, policemen from the Tismana City Police identified in traffic, an ATV driven by a male person, who, upon observing the police crew, performed the turning maneuver, at which point the policemen started chasing him , with the service vehicle, having the light and acoustic signals in operation.

After a chase of about 500 meters, the driver of the ATV made a left turn, on Aleea Macului street, in the village of Motru Sec, and at the end of the street he jumped off the ATV in the yard of a building, continuing his escape, on the hill “Hillock”. After the checks carried out, it was established that the man who was driving the vehicle is 21 years old, is domiciled in the village of Motru Sec, in the commune of Pades and does not hold a driving license for any category of vehicles.
