Saturday, April 6, is the day the 2024 edition of the Sprint Rally Championship will debut. It will be the 19th edition of this championship.

The 2024 Rally Sprint Championship, organized by RIDER’S Satu Mare Auto-Karting Sports Club in collaboration with various local authorities and sports organizations, promises to bring a series of exciting competitions to the world of motorsport.

Under the auspices of the Romanian Federation “Sport for All”, this event will take place in close collaboration with Satu Mare City Hall, Bistrita City Hall, Carei City Hall, Baia Mare City Hall, the Romanian Automobile Club through the National Motoring and Karting Commission (CNAK), and with the support of the Motoring and Karting Commission of ACR Sucursala Satu Mare (CAK-SM).

The 2024 Rally-Sprint Championship will be held according to the CNAK Regulations, together with the present framework regulations and the specific regulations of each stage. The competition will include 5+1 stages according to the established competition calendar.

Participants in the contests, called stages, are welcome regardless of the type of car they own, be it competition or series, registered or unregistered transmission.

Calendar 2024

  • Stage 1: Polygon ACR, Satu Mare (April 6)
  • Stage 2: the municipality of Carei (May 25)
  • Stage 3: Bistrita (June 15)
  • Stage 4: B-dul Transilvania, Satu Mare (August 17)
  • Stage 5 (reserve): B-dul Unirii, Baia Mare (October 19)
  • Stage 6: Polygon ACR, Satu Mare (November 16)

The competition classes remained the same, as follows:

Juniors: people aged between 8 and 18 (who do not turn 18 during the competitive season).

debutants

  • class 1: cars with single-axle traction with a real or equivalent cylinder capacity of 1500 cc maximum.
  • class 2: cars with single-axle traction with a real or equivalent cylinder capacity between 1501-2000 cmc.

advanced

  • class 1: cars with single-axle traction with a real or equivalent cylinder capacity of a maximum of 1600 cc.
  • class 2: cars with single-axle traction with a real or equivalent cylinder capacity between 1601-2000 cmc.
  • class 3: cars with single-axle traction with a real or equivalent cylinder capacity between 2001-3500 cmc.
  • class 4: cars with a real or equivalent cylinder capacity of over 3501 cc, those with 4×4 all-wheel drive and single-seaters regardless of cylinder capacity.

Open: Any driver with any car can participate, except for juniors.

Class 4: cars with a real or equivalent displacement of over 3501 cc, those with 4×4 all-wheel drive, and single-seaters regardless of cylinder capacity.

Open: Any pilot can participate with any car, except juniors.
