A man who committed several burglaries on the first day of this week was caught by the police from Gurahonț, Arad county.
“On April 1, the policemen of the 10th Rural Gurahonț Department were alerted to the fact that an unknown person allegedly broke the window of a grocery store in Hălmgaiu with a stone, from where he allegedly stole alcoholic beverages, after which, with a fork , would have forced the access door of a pharmacy, from where he would have stolen several dermato-cosmetic products.
Later, from the yard of a building, a bicycle was allegedly stolen, which he gave in exchange for several chickens”, IPJ Arad reported.
Following the investigations carried out by the police of the 10th Rural Gurahonț Section, a 60-year-old man from Mureș County was identified, who, based on the evidence, was detained for 24 hours, to be presented to the magistrates of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Gurahonț Court , with the proposal of taking preventive measures. The investigations are continued under the supervision of the case prosecutor, in a criminal file, drawn up for qualified theft.
