The National Meteorological Administration announces that the weather is changing radically, after a few days of summer temperatures.
According to meteorologists, 100 thermal records were set this weekend, as temperatures exceeded, in several areas of the country, 27 degrees Celsius.
ANM announces that even today new records are expected, with 30-32 degrees especially in the south and east of the country.
Including in the Capital, temperatures will reach and even exceed 30 degrees Celsius.
From tonight, however, the weather changes radically, because of a cold front that will cross our country.
Wind and rain are announced in the west of the country and temperature variations of over 10 degrees from one day to the next.
“Starting from Tuesday, April 2, the weather will change suddenly, thanks to the passage of a cold front. It will cause a drop in temperatures, but also strong winds, with the appearance of a gale in some areas. In the northwest and locally in the center and southeast, as well as in the mountains, maximum gusts will reach 70 – 90 km/h.
The front will also bring moderate rain to western and northern regions. In the high mountain areas, mixed precipitation will also be possible in the second part of the day”, announces meteoradar.ro.
