Mircea Orlățan, the candidate of the United Right Alliance for Cisnădie City Hall, presented the most important provisions of the local government program with which he intends to modernize Cisnădia, in the next four years.
The program of the United Right Alliance for Cisnădie, entitled “Restart Cisnădie”, provides a series of chapters structured according to the needs of the inhabitants of this city, whether they live in Vatră, or in the Architects’ Quarter or Cisnădioara. Mobility, education, urban planning or quality of life are just as many chapters in the program of Mircea Orlățan and the team with which he is running for Mayor.
“Cthe Cisnădia community has been strongly divided in the last 12 years, that is why we propose to rebuild it as a united community, in such a way that the citizens of Cisnădia regain their sense of pride that they are part of the same family”, said Mircea Orlățan, expert in attracting European funds, during a press conference. “We want to bring Cisnădia back to normality, to achieve the necessary administrative performance to lead the city to development.”
Among the first projects that Mircea Orlățan undertakes are the construction of two nurseries, a kindergarten, the establishment of a transport company, the modernization of roads and water and canal networks, attracting investors to offer well-paid jobs to Cisnadians.
Ruxandra Cibu Deaconu, president of USR Sibiu and candidate for Sibiu City Hall from the United Right Alliance, declared during the press conference that there is a need for a harmonization of projects in Sibiu, Cisnădie and Șelimbăr. “If life has made it so that people live, work and cross the perimeter of Sibiu – Căsinădie – Şelimbăr every day, it is our duty as administrators to take reality into account and offer people what they need: infrastructure, mobility, public services at a level not only correct, but even high”.

RESTART CISNADIE
Educated cisnadia
1. We finish two nurseries of state in Cisnădie Vatră: the first with an opening date of 2025.
2. We finish high-capacity kindergarten + nursery in 2025 in the Architects’ Quarter, using temporary modular construction solutions. In addition, until the necessary spaces are provided for the entire population of the city, we will courageously approach the public-private partnership with the application of a co-financing system for these services.
3. Let’s start the construction of a mixed kindergarten + nursery unit in the Architects’ neighborhood: with a deadline of 24-36 months.
4. We establish dual professional and technical education: in collaboration with the big companies active in the administrative territory.
5. We initiate a program to support sports activities, with the preferred financing of mass sports, after a real and extensive public consultation of citizens, which will start in November 2024.
Mobile cisnadia
1. We are establishing the Local Public Transport Service to provide as quickly as possible a solution for the most pressing mobility needs of the inhabitants. We will then continue to develop the service as we are able to access funding lines for the necessary infrastructure. Completion deadline July 2025
2. We will take immediate measures, in collaboration with the Sibiu City Hall, for the operationalization of public transport Sibiu – Architects’ Quarter, through Tursib – starting from October 2024.
3. We will take all measures so that metropolitan transport is optimally implemented at the Cisnădie UAT level, also in collaboration with Sibiu City Hall, in order to have the best possible frequencies, routes, transport stations, connections with UATs participating in the system .
4. In the long term, we aim to integrate the local transport service into the metropolitan public transport network.
Cisnădia of the community
1. Qwe establish Community Centers, correctly located, sized and equipped, in each of the three areasin which basic public services are available as close to people as possible.
2. We will create two Community Zones between Arhitectilor and Cisnădie and between Cisnădie and Cisnădioara. These two areas must be accompanied by facilities for the development of services and commerce. If these areas are properly designed and managed, they will attract population from all three internal areas, which will lead to the development of the spirit
Cisnadia equipped
1. We will urgently start the realization of the new General Urbanism Plan, coherent and correctly adapted to the current situation and the forecasts for the next 15 years. We will organize real and extensive public consultations on the various stages of the development of the PUG.
2. We are modernizing the streets and urban networks in Cisnădie Vatra and Cisnădioara.
3. We take over in the public domain all the streets in the Architects’ Quarter that meet the minimum conditions, according to the contracts concluded with the developers. Where there are problems of a technical or legal nature, we will grant specialized technical-legal support to prepare the takeover. Afterwards, we will modernize the roads previously taken over and those taken over starting from 2025.
4. We identify new spaces to establish playgrounds and green spaces in the Architects’ Quarter.
Cisnadia prospers
1. We expand Cisnădie industrial zone (East) for production, logistics and service activities. open Innovative Technological Industrial Park between Vatră and Architects for high-tech economic activities, from the IT&C and Research-Development sectors. People need to have jobs close to home with high wages.
2. We will stimulate tourist activities and related services, in collaboration with the owners of tourism and leisure infrastructures, with the administrators of tourist attractions of interest. We will create and promote a strong local tourist brand.
Inclusive cisnadia
1. We act to provide resident, primary and specialist doctors with the most favorable conditions so that they are motivated to work in City Hospital. We have in mind the provision of quality housing, fully equipped, installation premiums.
2. I agree support to family doctors in the territory, we support them in obtaining operating premises. We encourage and support family doctors to open offices where they are needed, especially in the Architects’ Quarter and in Cisnădioara.
3. We support the Club of Pensioners from Cisnădie. We will carry out activities through which the seniors of the community can help other people in difficulty or children or become active in community projects, so that they value their social utility at a higher level.
4. We are building in Cisnădie social houses. We will access grant funding for this venture.
Pure cisnadia
1. We reduce the sanitation fee: through measures to increase selective collection, increase compliance (real number of people declared), efficient bin chip system and pick-up monitoring, video monitoring, etc. and we act against pollution with household waste and construction waste
2. Development of water and sewage infrastructure in the Architects’ Quarter: We are building an advanced system for receiving and transporting wastewater from the Architects’ Quarter, including for future urban developments, directing the wastewater to the Mohu Treatment Plant. This project will be included in the water ADI, with financing provided by the Sustainable Development Sectoral Program 2021-2027.
3. We expand the sewerage system in Cisnădioara: We are building a centralized water supply and sewage system in Cisnădioara to meet the growing needs of the area, integrating this project within the Water ADI for financing through the Sustainable Development Sectoral Program 2021-2027.
