The problem of crows on Independence Boulevard returned with spring. Already the walks on the boulevard happen with olfactory discomfort and again it seems that, even this year, the municipality has no solution.
A walk on Saturday on Bulevardul Independenții was suddenly cut short after those wishing to come to the conclusion that, due to the heat, the smell that is already emanating is really unbearable. If it smells like this now, what awaits us in the summer?
It’s not hard to imagine, it’s enough to remember last summer, and the one two years ago, and… just like that. Once a pleasant promenade area, in recent years Castanilor Boulevard has become a large public toilet of crows.
Now, with the arrival of warm weather, they have made a comeback and once again the chestnut trees are full of nests and the banks full of droppings.
The green grass, which has just started to give, will be burned in a short time by the chicken and whoever dares to go “for a walk” will quickly change his mind. The smell will be as unbearable as every year.
In addition, the car wash business will pick up again as car owners in the area will call upon their services more often in an attempt to protect the paintwork of their cars as much as possible.
More than three years have passed since Andrei Volosevici (PNL member, future candidate for the mayor’s office, for a new mandate, from the PSD), then newly re-elected mayor of Ploiești, he promised at the LIVE Observatory that he would solve the problem of crows on the boulevard.
His reign is coming to an end (and let’s hope there won’t be another) and the burning issue of crows is still unresolved. But yes, when will he even think about crows when he has so many others on his mind?
