Spring cleaning has begun in Alba Iulia. The most important roads and areas in the municipality will be swept and cleaned by mid-May.

Spring cleaning schedule 2024, in Alba Iulia

Traffic routes and areas provided for cleaning activities between April 1 and May 11:

Week I, April 1 – 6, Center area – industrial area:

• The area from Calea Motilor (right side) to the industrial area (Str. Gh. Şincai), including Anghel Saligny neighborhood, B-dul Republicii, V. Alecsandri str., M. Aurelius str., S. Severus str., shop Profi, Olympic pool and Municipal Stadium parking.

Week II, April 7 – 12, Center area:

• Calea Motilor area (left side) – Gemina str., Basarabiei str., N. Titulescu str., L. Blaga str., Traian str., O. Goga Blvd., Apulum str., Cetății str., B Coronation Day, etc. to Viilor str., Bdul Ferdinand, Pasarela Partoș;
• The area between Bucharest Street, Ferdinand I Blvd and the Station.

Week III, April 13 – 19, Center area – Ampoi neighborhoods:

• The area between T. Vladimirescu Blvd., Ardealului St., Livezii St. and A. Mureșanu St.;
• AI Cuza str. area – DN 1 (entrance to the city from Cluj), including the bike path.

Week IV, April 20 – 25, Micești – Bărăbanț area:

• The area between Calea Motilor and Zlatnei str., with all the adjacent streets and the cycle track;
• The area of ​​Mureșului, Măceșului and Turnatoriei streets (with adjacent streets) – Bărăbanț.

Week V, April 25 – 30, Cetate district area:

• The area between B-dul Transilvaniei, St. Laleler, B-dul 1 Decembrie 1918 and the Hermitage area;
• The area between Transilvaniei Blvd, 1 Decembrie 1918 Blvd, Horea Blvd, Calea Motilor and Mircea Eliade Street;
• Coronation Blvd – Take Ionescu – Railway Station.

• Unirii park area, N. Iorga str. to the 1 Decembrie 1918 University (with all adjacent streets), Skate Park area, Pro Linca sports base, Aurel Vlaicu str., Cetății str. and Crișan str., Santurile cetății;

Week VII, May 6 – 11, Partoș – Oarda – Pâclișa

• Regimentul V Vânători str. area, Mureș river banks, DN 1 road bridge area;
• The area of ​​Victoriei streets, Biruinței str., Dumbrăviței and Armoniei str. – Oarda de Jos;
• The area of ​​the La Recea neighborhood, including Izvorului str., Dealul Furcilor;

According to the representatives of the Alba Iulia City Hall, manual or mechanical sweeping, kerb scraping, cleaning maintenance, collecting and transporting waste resulting from these activities or uncontrolled ramps will be carried out.

The surfaces on which these activities will be carried out are other than those included in the daily work schedule and represent: sidewalks, alleys, roadways, squares of green areas, etc., which belong to the public domain of the municipality of Alba Iulia.

During the spring cleaning, the daily schedule of sanitation works will not change.

The spring cleaning period may change depending on the weather conditions, in case of bad weather or due to other problems encountered along the way.
