On Wednesday, in Zalău, the host team, SC Municipal, forgot the 8th place ranking in the regular season and defeated, without the right of appeal, the first place holder. It was 3-0 (25-18, 26-24, 27-25), in an hour and a half in which the guests seemed to forget to play. The Galatians played a poor game, in which they failed to properly manage the end of the set. In the third act, for example, they had three set points, all wasted.
A defeat hard to understand, especially at this time when concentration, determination and mobilization should be at their highest.

The current situation of the play-off tournament is as follows: Rapid passed CSM Constanța with two victories with 3-1, Corona defeated Steaua with 3-0 and 3-1, Dinamo – Craiova 3-2 and 0-3, Arcada – Zalău 3-0 and 0-3. Rapid and Corona, with two wins each, secured their place in the semi-finals, where they will meet each other. To determine the other semifinal, it will be played on Saturday, in Galați, respectively, in Bucharest.
