The management of the group from Arad sent the mass media a statement in which it sanctioned the attitude of the Arad fans in the match that was played at the Arc de Triumf Stadium. In addition, the leaders of the UTA also complained about the “help” requested by the ultras and the “brothers” from CSA Steaua.

Following the incidents at the match Dinamo Bucharest – UTA Arad, dated 08.03.2024, our club was sanctioned with a sports penalty of 100,000 lei and with the scheduling of four games at home without spectators, a record fine in the modern history of the club.

Until now, SCU has attacked the local authorities, people from the city management, the management of the UTA club, players, coaches and other people, but it did not stop at spreading hatred and division…

SCU made its own shop, with counterfeit products, to reduce the club’s income.

All this was somewhat tolerated, but it became unacceptable, this last action by which the “brothers” from CSA Steaua were called to battle, providing them with free tickets(!), thus anticipating the incidents inevitable between the two groups.

Thus, the framework of the effective “execution” of the club’s subscribers and the supporters who came to the matches was created, but also a huge negative impact on the team”is the statement from UTA.

For their part, those in the gallery, the representatives of the UTA Supporter Club, published a statement in which they were totally disturbed by the unprecedented sanction.

The fans claim that they were not involved in the violence at the Arcul de Triumf stadium and outside it, and they claim that they did not give free tickets to CSA Steaua supporters.

“We, the UTA Supporter Club association, consider that these measures taken by the representatives of the Romanian Football Federation towards the UTA club are totally unfair. We have this opinion based on the fact that not even a single supporter from Arada, not a Utista, took part in any incident before, during or after the end of the Dinamo-UTA game.

This emerges, moreover, even from the documents of the Romanian Gendarmerie, from the public statements of the representatives of this institution, respectively from the public statements of the representatives of the host club (Dinamo Bucharest).

We reiterate the fact that no Aradean supporter was involved in incidents, no Aradean supporter entered the playing surface, no Aradean supporter used pyrotechnic materials and, obviously, as a result, no Aradean supporter was sanctioned by the competent authorities .

The incidents took place strictly between Bucharest supporters, and this is evident from all the official reports, but also from the images that were published by a lot of media institutions from all over the country.

Thus, we consider totally unfair the decision of the Disciplinary Commission within the FRF to put the equal sign between the organizers of the event, i.e. the Dinamo club, respectively the guests, i.e. the UTA club. We cannot understand how the decision to sanction the UTA club was reached and how the UTA club is blamed for the fact that the host club did not take all the necessary measures to prevent possible incidents. It was known by all parties involved that the game is one with a high degree of risk and, however, the measures of the organizers left much to be desired”it is stated in the press release from UTA supporters.

The representatives from SC UTA also specified that for the match with Dinamo, 114 tickets were made available exclusively for fans of the team coached by Mircea Rednic.

“The UTA Supporter Club offered a number of 114 tickets exclusively to supporters who traveled from Arad to the match between Dinamo and UTA, and in this sense there are supporting documents.

The supporters from Bucharest present at the game in the guest sector entered the stadium with the consent of the Romanian Gendarmerie, they purchased their tickets themselves from the Dinamo club cashier.

We emphasize that SCU did not offer free tickets to supporters from Bucharest! In fact, the Bucharest supporters had not even arrived at the stadium when the Arad supporters entered the “Arc de Triumf” Arena, arriving much later.

In the end, despite the differences between the supporters and the management of the UTA club, we hope and even urge the latter to contest by all possible means these measures of the Romanian Football Federation”it is also stated in the press release sent by the UTA supporters.
