As the dancer revealed on Wednesday’s episode of Loose Women, the Princess of Wales impressed her with his kindness and understanding when they met during Amy’s chemotherapy treatment and even made her an incredible offer generous.
Amy recalled in the show, according to the publication HELLO!: “During my chemotherapy, I had the chance to meet Kate Middleton, who was very attentive to me and gave me a lot of time from her busy schedule. She was very kind and extremely generous. The Princess of Wales told me to let her know if she could help me with anything.”
Amy Dowden was impressed, overwhelmed by the empathy shown by the future British queen. That is precisely why she is amazed by the diagnosis that the Princess of Wales made public last month. Now she, too, is undergoing chemotherapy, after the presence of cancer was detected following the major abdominal surgery she unexpectedly underwent in January 2024.

“I don’t want anyone to go through that, it’s too recent a memory for me.” The star underwent a mastectomy and has been undergoing chemotherapy since revealing her diagnosis last May.
“This news hit me personally pretty hard,” the 33-year-old shared in a video posted to Instagram. “Let’s pray for our princess,” she added.
Kate underwent major abdominal surgery in January and at the time the condition was thought to be non-cancerous. However, post-operative tests later found that cancer cells were present.

At the moment, Kate has completely put all royal duties aside and is focusing solely on her therapy.
