SkyShowtime announces the first partnership in Central and Eastern Europe with DIGI Romania

DIGI Romania will launch the complete SkyShowtime service – which includes the two premium linear channels – available to all digital television subscribers.

Starting from April 25, 2024, DIGI – one of the most important telecommunications operators in Romania, will introduce the entire SkyShowtime service package in its program grid and distribute the premium linear channels SkyShowtime 1 HD (position 110) and SkyShowtime 2 HD (position 111) to all customers who benefit from the digital TV service. The partnership with DIGI Romania represents a reference point for Central and Eastern Europe, marking the first B2B collaboration carried out by SkyShowtime in this region.

As part of a special launch campaign, DIGI will offer access to the full SkyShowtime portfolio at no extra cost to subscribers who own the digital TV service for a limited time until 15 July 2024. After the promotion ends, DIGI customers will will be able to subscribe to the SkyShowtime service and choose from a range of advantageous packages, which will be announced in the coming months.

Subscribers to the digital TV service will have login access to all SkyShowtime content, including the latest blockbusters from Paramount Pictures and Universal Studios. In addition, they will be able to watch important titles of exclusive series on the platform, such as all episodes of the global hit Yellowstone and its spin-offs 1883 and 1923alongside an ever-updating selection of original SkyShowtime series.

SkyShowtime is home to about 50% of Hollywood’s box office. Movies currently available on the service include: Cocaine Bear, Fast X, Oppenheimer, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Smile, Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, The Perfect Escape, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

DIGI customers will also be able to watch original SkyShowtime series such as Poker Face, The Curse, Veronika as well as the upcoming The Tattooist of Auschwitz, starring actor Harvey Keitel. Viewers will enjoy exclusive global shows including the new hit Lawmen: Bass Reeves or the series Special Ops: Lioness with Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman, Halo, Star Trek: Discovery, Ted and Tulsa King with Sylvester Stallone. In addition, the SkyShowtime schedule will include moviegoers’ favorite titles and classic series such as Dexter, Frasier, The Office, Ray Donovan and more.

DIGI subscribers who have the digital TV package will benefit from uninterrupted access to both the two premium linear channels SkyShowtime 1 HD and SkyShowtime 2 HD, as well as to the SkyShowtime streaming service, at no additional cost, for the duration of the promotional campaign valid from April 25 2024-15 July 2024. To gain access to the Skyshowtime streaming service, users will login to their DIGI customer account and follow the steps to generate the promotional voucher.
