The latest events in the capital of the Russian Federation that target politics in the Republic of Moldova would represent an “attack” on the security of our state, in the opinion of the acting general prosecutor, Ion Munteanu, according to Rador Radio Romania, citing the National Newspaper. Furthermore, the General Prosecutor’s Office is examining the actions related to the creation of the “Podeda” political bloc in Moscow by Ilan Şor and the representatives of two parties from Chisinau under the aspect of “treason”.

“From our point of view, this action has the tendency to threaten the security of the state and is another manifestation of the Şor criminal group. I want to assure you that both the Prosecutor’s Office and the criminal investigation bodies, as well as the state security bodies, are watching all the actions that happen in relation to the participation of our politicians in Moscow, and at the right time each action will be qualified. The treason component of the crime is also examined in relation to the events we are all witnessing. I assure you that these manifestations of the organized criminal group will not remain outside the investigations”, declared Ion Munteanu on the show “In depth” on ProTV.

The fugitive oligarch Ilan Şor, definitively sentenced to 15 years in prison in the bank fraud case, announced on April 20 in Moscow, during an event organized in a luxury hotel, about the creation of the “Victorie/Pobeda” political block. Șor’s block aims to win the presidential elections in the fall, but also to boycott the referendum on the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union.

The event in Moscow was attended by the Baskan of Gagauzia, Evghenia Guțul, the president of the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia, Dmitri Constantinov, deputies Marina Tauber, Vasile Bolea, Reghina Apostolova, Denis Ulanov, Vadim Fotescu, Alexandr Nesterovschi, Irina Lozovan, Petru Jardan, as well as the leader of the “Chance” formation, Alexei Lungu, as well as the president of the “Renaissance” Party, Natalia Parasca.

Ilan Şor became the president of the block, the secretary of the National Council – Evghenia Guţul, the head of Gagauzia, and the executive secretary – Marina Tauber.

In the opinion of the former Minister of Defense, Anatol Şalaru, the “Pobeda” block aims to take over power in the Republic of Moldova and transform our state “into a Russian enclave”.

“A congress of pro-Russian rejects took place in Moscow, which constituted the so-called Pobeda opposition movement. This movement, led by Șor, wants to take power in the Republic of Moldova and turn it into a Russian enclave. (…) The Republic of Moldova is a target of Russia and the danger is very high. We need the consolidation of all pro-European forces to resist”, warned Anatol Şalaru.
