The British intelligence services note that, after the attacks that the Ukrainians managed to carry out on the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet off the coast of Crimea, the most important ships were moved to the Novorossiisk naval base.

In addition, British intelligence indicates that the security measures of the Russian fleet have been strengthened after the change of command to Rear Admiral Sergei Pinchuk.

Recently, the Ukrainian publication Militarny reported that a video material was published on social networks showing the expansion of the Ochamchira naval base of the Russian Border Service, subordinate to the FSB, in the separatist territory of Abkhazia.

The video, most likely taken with an unmanned aerial vehicle, shows the finished part of the base and the process of expanding it.

It can be assumed that the base is or has been transferred to the Russian Black Sea Fleet and its infrastructure is being expanded to accommodate more personnel and larger ships.

During the Russian-Ukrainian war, the Russian Black Sea Fleet lost more than 20% of its ships, which were damaged or destroyed. The costliest loss was the former flagship, the cruiser Moskva.

Satellite images published in the Western media show that the battleships and submarines of the Russian Black Sea Fleet (RFMN) have left the main naval base in Sevastopol.

The fleet of large landing craft suffered the greatest losses. Minsk, Novocherkassk and Caesar Kunikov were destroyed, while Olenegorskiy Gorniak and Saratov, an amphibious assault ship part of Project 1171, suffered major damage. In addition, Azov, Yamal and the Ukrainian ship Konstantin Olshanski, captured by the Russians in 2014, were recently damaged.

In addition, the submarine Rostov-on-Don Project 636.3, the small missile carrier Askold Project 22800, several small amphibious assault ships, a large number of assault ships and the tugboat Spasatel Vasili Bekh were destroyed.

In addition, MRC Veliki Ustiug, SC Admiral Makarov and minesweeper Ivan Golubets suffered damage of varying degrees. Recently, the patrol ship Serghei Kotov sank as a result of an attack. Most ships were sunk or hit by kamikaze maritime drones.
