TIMISOARA. Serious traffic accident in Timisoara, Friday morning.
A 75-year-old man was hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing on Andrei Saguna Boulevard. The man was crossing the red traffic light when he was surprised by the car driven by a 37-year-old driver.
A medical crew quickly intervened at the scene of the accident, but the doctors could not do anything for the old man. He had breathed his last.
“A 37-year-old man drove a car on Andrei Șaguna Street from Calea Dorobantilor towards Baba Dochia Street, and at the intersection with Iulian Grozescu Street he surprised and injured a 75-year-old man, as pedestrian, engaged in crossing the public road through a place marked and properly signaled on the red color of the electric traffic light.
The impact resulted in the death of the 75-year-old pedestrian.
