George Simion asked Gigi Becali for money. The landowner’s reaction: “I blow in the yogurt”

Just one day before the start of the electoral campaign for the local and European parliamentary elections, the president of AUR, George Simion, went to the financier of FCSB, Gigi Becali, to ask him for money. He was accompanied by Mihail Neamțu, who is running for the European Parliament elections on behalf of the AUR.

The boss of FCSB, Gigi Becali, said neither no nor yes, only “that he will look for a formula” to give the two politicians a “helping hand”.

“Let’s see if they give a helping hand to Neamțu, that he is running for the European Parliament. But there is no time now. And now I would have borrowed the GOLD for 500,000 (in euros – ed.) and after what they took…Let’s see…that now it’s not possible. Let’s see some formula. I’ll borrow it, but let’s see if it’s legal. I said “I blow in the yogurt”, let’s see if it is legal to lend Mihai Neamțu and he to finance his campaign. Let’s see, let’s find solutions, but I did prison for nothing. Bad luck for AUR: “If it came sooner, we would have lent the party 500,000 euros”

Gigi Becali made it clear that AUR is not the only party that asked him for money for the election campaign. Social democratic leaders did the same and received a loan worth 500,000 euros from Gigi Becali.

“If he came earlier, we would have lent the party 500,000 euros, as we did with PSD (not the party from which Gabriela Firea, his daughter, is running for the Capital City Hall), and PSD would give the money. We were also lending GOLD and after that he was giving them back,” said the FCSB financier, according to the cited source.
