A little girl from Târgu Jiu municipality needs help to live. Little Amina Maracu, 5 years old, was diagnosed with dwarfism, bone dyschondroplasia, brain cysts and needs our help in the future. Camelia Maracu, the girl’s mother, said that on May 13, the girl will undergo an intervention at the Neurosurgery Department, at the Timișoara County Hospital. Later, on June 11, the child is scheduled at a clinic in Bucharest, for an MRI exam.
After these medical tests, the girl should arrive, together with her mother, at the Hospital in Craiova, for an operation on her right leg, given the fact that, due to the disease, the growth of the girl is affected and the bone system no longer develops properly accordingly, the same with the other children. Therefore, it is necessary for the girl to periodically undergo surgical interventions and be constantly monitored by doctors.
The mother does not have the necessary money for the operations
Camelia Maracu, the mother of the 5-year-old girl, does not have the necessary resources to go to all the hospitals listed above.
“Unfortunately, I do not have the necessary opportunity to carry out these interventions. Amina has made great progress in terms of her development, but for me, raising her alone is quite difficult to continue paying the bills for all these trips and interventions. I would like people who know about us and Amina to be with us as much as they can so that we can continue the investigations and therapies, so that we can live a normal life. From the first day I did everything that depended on me. When we were alone, the efforts were beyond my means, but I did not give up doing everything possible to receive treatments and operations so that Amina could be well.
He is in kindergarten in the public system. She helps us ladies a lot and integrating her into education is very helpful for her psyche. However, interventions and therapy are still needed”, said the child’s mother, who urgently needs financial help to live.
