The referee of the match, who had several controversial decisions, but did not deserve the rough treatment to which she was subjected by the home fans, erroneously indicates a corner kick for Slobozia and, following its execution by Purece, Pospielov restarts with his head in the crossbar, and the ball, ricocheted into the field, hits Afalna, on his knees, three meters from the goal, and ricochets into the net, and since nothing notable happened until the break, the Unirea players enter the dressing room with 1-0. In the second half, the Hunedomen started better, but Manolache’s header was blocked by the opposing goalkeeper, but the Unirea team proved, overall, to be more offensive, missing four good opportunities. Corvinul misses the equalizer in the 85th minute, but newcomer Câmpan takes over from the edge of the small box, over the goal, and thus Unirea Slobozia, which has accumulated 56 points, imposes itself at the limit.
Wednesday, from 17:30, at home, with Ciucul
Corvinul, which lost the first match in the play-off, remains in second position, equal on points, 49, with the other team without the right to promotion, CSC Şelimbăr, which produced the surprise, defeating Gloria Buzău 2-1 , ranked fourth, with 45 points. In another match of the stage, CS Mioveni (39 points) beat AFKC Miercurea Ciuc (40 points) at home. The first match of the penultimate stage will be played on Tuesday, May 7, at 19:00, and will pit Gloria Buzău and Unirea Slobozia against each other. Depending on the result of this match, it will be known with what morale those from Miercurea Ciuc will come to Hunedoara. More precisely, if Buzăul wins, it secures direct access to the first echelon, and if not, Ciucani will play their last chance in Hunedoara, but for this they need to impose themselves on the Corvinu field. The match between Corvinul Hunedoara and AFKC Miercurea Ciuc will be played on Wednesday, May 8, starting at 17:30. Also on the same day, but half an hour earlier than in Hunedoara, the match between CSC Şelimbăr and CS Mioveni will start, the team from Argeș no longer having a chance of direct promotion, but only of qualification in the play-off, where another team from League 2, Buzăul or, most likely, Miecurea Ciuc, as well as those ranked 13th and 14th in the first echelon.
