The AUR leadership accuses that the former candidate for Buzau City Hall “is one of the “rabbits” planted by PSD and PNL” – although George Simion himself brought many trailblazers from PSD and PNL into the party

In a press release sent by the county organization of AUR Buzau on Wednesday morning, the representatives of AUR call the one with whom they have been marching for more than a year on every occasion the “rabbit” planted by the PSD-PNL coalition.

“Huge pressure was put on for AUR not to run in these local elections! The Combined Party PSD-PNL and the system that holds them in their arms did everything in their power to block us, to ensure that we will not have candidates. We woke up with all kinds of infiltrators, which detonated in the last few days”, says the AUR Buzau press release, quoted by News.ro.

At the same time, the representatives of the party left without a candidate for the Buzau City Hall say that they will continue the political fight, even if after Elena Nastasoiu’s departure, other withdrawals are announced.

“It was a fight against the clock during the last 5 days to replace all kinds of “bunnies” planted by PSD and PNL in AUR during the last years, who were with us, they imitated the care for the Romanians that we – we assumed to represent them, who said they were our brothers in the cause. Unfortunately, these “bunnies” chose to retreat to the units that planted them with noise, trying to denigrate us, throwing mud. People came to AUR not to a member. AUR members and supporters are people who see PSD-PNL manipulations and tricks. We are determined to fight and do justice for Buzau and for Romania!”, it says at the end of the AUR Buzau press release.

The AUR candidate for Buzau City Hall, Elena Nastasoiu, announced, on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, that she withdrew from the electoral race, accusing “reprehensible facts that raise many question marks”. Along with her, 18 of the 29 candidates for the Buzau Local Council withdrew their candidacies.
