Marius Lulea, the first vice-president of AUR, reacted following the unexpected withdrawal of the party’s candidate for Buzău City Hall, Elena Năstăsoiu.

Lulea explained that the recent changes in the candidate lists for counties and municipalities were made to promote reliable people and strengthen the party structure. This move came in response to “a well-crafted infiltration plan from PSD and PNL“, intended to undermine AUR’s initiatives from within. “In most cases, their plan failed, thanks to the vigilance of our leaders”Lulea added.

About those who left the party, Lulea was categorical: “We do not regret any traitor left. There are still a few who haven’t shown their true colors yet, but we’re ready.” He continued, accusing the traitors of having as their main aim to maintain internal tensions and block any newcomer who could bring change and progress in the party.

This revelation comes at a tense time for AUR, with local elections looming. The purpose of the party, according to Lulea, is to cleanse the organization of toxic elements and ensure that those who remain are dedicated to the cause of the party and the national interest.
