A four-year-old girl died after allegedly eating fish bought from the village store. Her grandmother died immediately after finding out what happened to her granddaughter. The child’s grandfather is also in the hospital.
Ten people, four children and six adults, consumed the same products, frozen fish, pork products and doughnuts. The four-year-old girl was the first to experience nausea and vomiting, symptoms of food poisoning.
A few hours later, the girl’s grandmother also alleged the same problems. Both were picked up by an ambulance. The doctors could no longer save the child’s life, and her grandmother died while being moved to the ATI ward.
The store where the frozen fish was purchased was not licensed to sell this product. The girl’s grandfather also arrived at the hospital. It is in good condition but remains under observation.
The mayor of the village claims that the fish was not the cause of the deaths
“I haven’t spoken to the owner of the shop yet. There were several checks on the spot. My personal opinion, I think the deaths are not due to the consumption of fish, but until the results of the biological tests we cannot pronounce.
