A day ago, the Minister of Transport announced that five bids had been submitted for the contract necessary to develop the Feasibility Study of the Cluj-Dej Expressway. The estimated value of the contract is 28.34 million lei (without VAT). Funding is provided through FEN (Non-Reimbursable European Funds).

The contract completion period is 21 months, of which 18 months are allocated for carrying out the Feasibility Study. A new section of the A7 Motorway will be put into circulation

Also on Monday, it was learned that traffic will be opened on the first 14 kilometers of the highway at the end of July or the beginning of August.

The Romanian official carried out an inspection on the section of the A7 highway between Buzău and Focșani, in Râmnicu-Sărat. He reiterated that the delays on the Pietroasele-Buzău lot are not attributable to the Ministry of Transport. Mobilization is extremely good. However, he was disappointed by the one and a half year delay of the works on the Pietroasele-Buzău lot, attributed to evaluations and reevaluations carried out by the CNSC. The solution proposed by the Ministry of Transport in the summer of 2022 is the same as the one adopted by the CNSC a year and a half later.
