A serious accident occurred during the morning of Tuesday, April 30, on DN 39, near the Damen construction site. One car overturned, one person was trapped and another was taken to hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, one of the two victims later died.
The unfortunate road accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, April 30. Several ISU crews went to the scene, as well as an ambulance from the SAJ.
Two people were seriously injured, two young men, one 23 years old, the other 27.
The 23-year-old chose with the phalanges of one of the upper limbs amputated, being the one who had remained incarcerated. He was released and transported to the hospital in serious condition.
The other man, aged 27, died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Investigations are being carried out in the matter.

“On April 30 this year, at around 7:45 a.m., police officers from the Road Safety Service were alerted to the fact that a road accident had occurred on DN 39, in the municipality of Mangalia. The police officers sent to the scene found that a 27-year-old man was driving a car, lost control of the direction, and the car collided with a pole. As a result of the road accident, the driver and a passenger, respectively a 23-year-old man, were seriously injured. Both were transported to the hospital. Biological samples were taken from the driver to determine his blood alcohol level and the possible consumption of psychoactive substances. In the case, a criminal investigation file was drawn up for the commission of the crime of culpable bodily harm”, appropriate IPJ Constanța representatives.
