On the penultimate day of submitting candidacies for the local elections of June 9, 2024, they presented themselves at the headquarters of the County Electoral Office (BEJ) no. 7 and those from AUR Botoșani.
“Proud to be Moldovan”
Eusebiu Cilibiu is running for the position of president of Botoșani County Council.
He also submitted a list of people with whom he wants to obtain as many mandates as possible in the county plenary.
After submitting the candidacy files, the AUR county team displayed the message “Proud to be Moldovan” in several languages of international circulation.
Thus they sanctioned the slippage of the PSD leader, Marcel Ciolacu, who declared in a public meeting that the people of Buzău feel offended if they are made Moldovans.
“Mr. Prime Minister, as you can see, we wanted to send the messages to the Romanians who, because of their government, had to leave Moldova. He feels offended that he was somehow assimilated to Moldova, we are proud and all the citizens of Botošan, all Moldovans who have gone across the border are sending him these messages that you see here today”
