The “Make Europe Great Again (MEGA)” conference is organized by the Conservative Institute ‘Mihai Eminescu’, an organization led by AUR senator Claudiu Târziu, and takes place on the weekend of April 27-28, at the Parliament Palace.

The event started on Saturday 27th April from 14:00 and will continue on Sunday 28th April from 09:45.

Renowned international guests will be present at the event, including Dr. Robert Malone, Sherronna Bishop, MEPs Nicolas Bay, Ryszard Czarnecki and Morten Messerschmidt, Bruce LeVell representative of the Trump administration, but also Eduardo Verástegui, founder and president of the Viva México Movement. Also, George Simion, the president of AUR, Claudiu Târziu, the president of the National Management Council of AUR, will also be chaired.

Discussions will focus on current topics of geopolitical interest, while providing an insight into the direction Europe and the world are heading in today’s conditions.

The speech of the president of the AUR party, George Simion, can be watched in the video:

“Hello! Thank you all for being here today to participate in this wonderful gathering. Let me first welcome you all to Romania and to our country’s capital, Bucharest. We Romanians are known for fighting for freedom. That’s why in 1989 we had our Revolution, and two years ago we were the last country in Europe to fight against the infamous Covid 19 green certificate at work. It was not an easy fight.

Romania still remains one of the freest countries in Europe. And I say this with sadness. Here, in our country, you can still joke without anyone being offended or accused of not being politically correct. So on the days you are here, please joke on any topic, you will not be persecuted! This is normality! For example, the other day, our prime minister joked that it’s shameful to be Moldovan and we shouldn’t call him Moldovan. We all laughed. No one said the Prime Minister was racist. We all know it was a joke. He is not Moldovan, he is probably Rrom.

We love our Roma brothers and sisters, our Hungarian friends, our Turkish and Greek compatriots, all those whose hearts beat for Romania. We should all be proud of our origins. There is no shame in admitting who you really are!

Thanks to the organizer of this event – the “Mihai Eminescu” Conservatory Institute, chaired by my dear friend, the president of the National Management Council of the AUR, Claudiu Târziu. We are here, in Ceaușescu’s House of the People. If it’s your first time here, be sure to take a tour of this place, the largest building in this part of the world, which is worth seeing.

But before that, I see some familiar faces in the crowd – Prof. Robert Malone, Michael Kleiner, Janusz Kowalski, Rob Roos, and a lot of new friends from all over the world, brave people who understand how important our fight for freedom is . Men and women who, despite the relentless attacks on them, refused to kneel before the godless globalists. It is an honor to address such a distinguished audience. Some of you came directly from Budapest. I am sorry that Prime Minister Orban could not join us.

I hope our overseas guests did not confuse Budapest with Bucharest – it happens often. I don’t know why, because you will like Bucharest more, you will see these days!

We are here to talk about freedom, prosperity and peace. You may have wondered why we called this conference “Make Europe Great Again”. Of course, credit goes to the Big Guy, Donald J. Trump. Not only America, but Europe was once great, but is no longer great.
I was born under communism in 1986. My generation grew up looking to Western Europe, to America as a dream of the free world, where you could find jeans, prosperity, freedom of speech and democracy.

We have a great history, we have great ancestors, and now we try to imagine ourselves as prosperous members of the European Union, but the reality is that we are poor and do not belong to the same economic zone, but rather are perceived as second-class citizens. Often, among the few ideas promoted by the US Embassy and the European Commission about Romania is the one according to which we are savages because we claim that babies are born from the love between a man and a woman. I say it’s not like that, it’s a cultural thing. But, the same entities believe that cows are destroying the planet and that we are not allowed to say that this is nonsense.

We can be again what we once were. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, especially not the media. We can still get things back to normal, but we have to start by being honest. Honest about the housing crisis, uncontrolled migration, declining birthrates, pandemics and war. All these major issues we’ve been warned about for the past few years. Yes, our cities are slowly turning into ghettos. But we can change things. Yes, we are inundated with illegal immigrants. And this has to stop right now.

Yes, the declining birthrate is a major problem. And we have to think of a solution. And how quickly. I thought and my solution is that I have a newborn boy, only 3 days old. I just came from the hospital. After years and years of being lied to, people want the truth, no matter how harsh it is. For a country to prosper, its people must be free.

Free to speak, free to worship, free to do business. Free to think. So yes! We are here to talk about freedom, prosperity and peace. But we cannot have prosperity and peace without freedom. So, in a way, we’re here to talk about freedom first and foremost. We can be again what we once were. It’s not too late. Not if we act now. We can still turn things around. But we must stay united.

All the conflict between us that we see in Europe and even in the US within the conservative movement certainly does not help our common cause.
Either we stand together, ready to fight these godless bureaucrats, or we all lose. It’s that simple.

An important year awaits most of us here. Elections are fast approaching and with them, our chances of returning power to our peoples are increasing. We have leaders at European level who can unite us. We have Mr. Matteo Salvini, whom I visited last week in Rome, we have Mrs. Meloni, we have Mr. Kaczyński. I would rather follow and trust them as allies of my nation than trust the corrupt Ursula van der Layer and her network of lies.

I would propose, at the end of this conference, that all parties in all 27 countries in Europe sign a statement not to vote for Mrs Ursula von der Leyen as the next head of the European Commission. We should all own up to this.

The Polish people, the Romanian people, the Hungarian people, the Bulgarian people, the Slovaks, we were all caught between the Soviet times, between communism, and now between liberalism and globalism. And I hope that through this conference, through our united efforts and through a lot of work, we will manage to find our way to normality, to faith, to family.

I hope you have a pleasant stay in Bucharest, listening to all our wonderful guests and speakers and enjoying what the city has to offer.
Thank you! Let’s make our countries great again! So help us God!” said George Simion.
